Abstract submissions for the 2008 ERS Annual Congress were at a record high, with 5,325 abstracts from more than 100 countries received. This year, many resources will be available online; including registration forms and the Abstract Book.

In order to better understand the health effects of climate change, The Environment Committee of the ERS held a workshop in Leuven. The workshop was well attended with the objective of producing a position paper on climate change for publication in the European Respiratory Journal.
