  • You are an ERS member?
  • You are 40 years of age or under (at the time of the application deadline)?
  • You published a paper in the field respiratory medicine and will focus on basic mechanisms in respiratory diseases?

Closing date for applications is February 25, 2010. Notification of selection will be sent in May 2010.

Through the support of the Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd, the ERS offers a €10,000 Grant every year. It is intended as a best publication Award. The scope of the research to be considered will be in the area of respiratory medicine and will focus on basic mechanisms in respiratory diseases. The Award is to be used to further investigate in the area of the selected publication and will be partially given to the institution.

2009 Vienna Awards

This award was presented at the ERS Annual Congress in Vienna, Austria, during the Paediatric Respiratory Research Awards session from 8:30 to 08:50 on Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Room D3.

Prize presented to Dr Sejal Saglani, Sidcup Kent, United Kingdom, and Dr Dominik Hartl, Munich, Germany, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to research in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine.
