  • Development of the Research Fellow Programme with reviewing process, increased budget, formalised and realistic salary structure.
  • Congress: deletion of Wednesday afternoon!
  • Improvement in the standard of the science at the congress. Introduction of collaborative symposia between assemblies, bench to the bedside symposia.
  • High success rate for EU grants ERS sponsored development of these grants
