In conjunction with the Turkish Thoracic Society, the ERS is proud to announce an ERS Live presentation in Turkish.

This presentation, on the subject of professional rights and liabilities, aims to inform Turkish Thoracic Society (TTS) members about potential problems, to seek solutions and to be supportive of their actions.

Sule Akcay, Assoc. Prof. and General Secretary of the TTS, will be presenting information about the activities of the TTS with regards to brevity rights and members’ legal problems.      

Ziynet Özçelik, attorney and legal consultant of the TTS, will be presenting on changes in the healthcare system and the regulations of specialty in medicine. She will also present on the scope of the obligatory professional liability insurance brought about by “the full time law” (law number 5947), which will become effective in six months, and its forthcoming effects on doctors and healthcare services.

TTS and ERS members will have the chance to discuss these problems online and ask any questions they may have.
