  • You published a paper in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertenions?

Closing date for applications is February 25, 2010. Notification of selection will be sent in May 2010.

This research award of 10,000€, supported by Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd, is awarded in recognition of advances and research in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), to a young investigator for the best research in this field.

This award was presented at the ERS Annual Congress in Vienna, Austria, during the "Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Research Award" session and before the Hot Topic "Pulmonary hyper tension - recent progress in research and practice", having taken place on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 08:30 to 10:30 in Room C8.

The Prize has been awarded to Anton Vonk-Noordegraaf, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, for the high quality of his many abstracts submitted to the ERS conferences and for his great contribution to research in Respiratory Medicine.

 The Prize has been awarded to Nils Nickel, Hannover, Gemany, for his abstract entitled "Growth-differentiation factor-15 as a prognostic indicator in idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension".
