The online submission of abstracts will be open in August 2010.
Abstracts will initially be accepted for free communication sessions, with the Scientific Programme Committee reserving the right to allocate abstracts to either oral presentations or poster sessions.
The ERS Lung Science Conference organisers encourage presentations of any novel experimental lung research and intentionally provide a forum to allow interactions between different areas. Therefore submission of abstracts describing original research into all areas of respiratory medicine including those related to the main themes of the conference was encouraged.
Notice of selection will be given in January 2011, and notice of scheduled format and time of presentation by February 2011.
Bursaries covering registration and contribution towards other costs are available for up to 40 participants. Potential applicants had to submit an abstract in order to be considered for a bursary.
