All tours are based on a minimum number of 20 participants. These tours will take place on a deluxe motor coach with an English-speaking guide.
All prices include German VAT (19%) and the services mentioned only. Should the minimum participant number of 20 not be reached, K.I.T. reserves the right to cancel the tour. Prices may be subject to change for exceptional reasons beyond the control of K.I.T. Tickets for sightseeing tours and excursions are not refundable, unless the tour is cancelled by K.I.T. for the aforementioned reason.
Berlin Orientation Tour
Berlin has always been a dynamic city, noted for its ambitious and vivacious nature. The Berlin orientation tour gives a general overview of the signs of change throughout the city and the most traditional and popular highlights. The bus tour includes sights like the Brandenburg Gate, the German House of Parliament and the Victory Column as well as Emperor Wilhelm's Memorial Church, the Berlin Cathedral and Charlottenburg Palace. The bus will also pass the futuristic Potsdamer Platz with the Philharmonic Concert Hall and the Alexanderplatz with the Red Town Hall: the official Lord Mayor's residence.

The New Berlin
On this tour, guests will discover the so-called "New Berlin" with its modern architecture. After the fall of the Wall, hundreds of construction sites have appeared in the former East Berlin. Little by little, the cranes have disappeared and brand new buildings have formed a new skyline.

Berlin and the Wall
Between the end of World War II and the beginning of the 1990s, the history of Berlin was dominated by the presence of the four victors of the War and the Wall dividing West and East Berlin. This tour leads visitors behind the scenes of the former East Berlin and focuses on the once divided city.

Jewish Life in Berlin
The tour focuses on the Jewish history, past and present, of Berlin. The tour will visit the Jewish Museum, housed in one of the most spectacular buildings erected in Berlin since World War II. The tour continues through the former Jewish Quarter of "Scheunenviertel", to the beautifully restored Synagogue in the Oranienburgerstrasse and will then finish with a visit to the memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, situated in close proximity to the Brandenburg Gate.

Berlin Underground
This tour shows you the city from a very unique and unusual perspective: Berlin's underground. The tour will not only include the common facilities, such as the subway and the drainage system of Berlin's Underground, but also Berlin's late 19th century pneumatic pipe post system as well as an extensive bunker system. All of these elements played a part in Berlin's dramatic history during both World War II and the Cold War.

Full-day Tour to Potsdam
Potsdam, the capital of Brandenburg, is located in a beautiful hilly area between the vast waterways of the Havel and numerous lakes. On this tour you will experience the most important sights of Potsdam: the Potsdam Brandenburg Gate; the Dutch Quarter, with its typical red brick houses and small alleys; the Marstall; and the Nikolai Church, which was built from 1831 to 1837 by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. The tour will continue to the beautiful Sanssouci Park, designed by Lenné, and the numerous palaces and houses built there, including the Palace Sanssouci, New Palace, the Orangerie, the New Chambers, the Chinese Tea House and the Dutch windmill. Lunch will be in the Castle of Cecilienhof.

Post-Congress Tour to Prague
Please note, bookings for the Post Congress tour have to be made no later than 14 July 2008.
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is located amid the gentle landscapes of the Bohemian plateau and has the Vlatava River running through its picturesque centre.
During this 3-day trip you will experience the fascinating historical sites, medieval majesty and Baroque glamour of what is often called the Golden City.
Itinerary
- Thursday, October 9
Early departure (07:30) for Dresden, where you will visit the most important places of interest on a sightseeing tour throughout the capital of Saxony, on the edge of the Elbe river. After some leisure time, the tour will continue to Prague in the afternoon.
Arrival and overnight stay in Prague. - Friday, October 10
After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel you will experience the beauty of Hradschin, the famous castle situated on a hill overlooking the historical city. In the afternoon, the tour will continue with a stroll through the historical centre of Prague. Dinner cruise on Vlatava River and overnight stay in Prague. - Saturday, October 11
After breakfast, the tour departs for Melnik, a small Czech city famous for its wine growing history and the Melnik castle that dates back to the 9th century. After strolling through the charming city centre with its two-storey coloured buildings, you will visit the famous castle from which you can enjoy a stunning view over the confluence of the rivers Labe and Vltava surrounded by gentle hills and vineyards.
The tour returns to Berlin in the evening (19:00).
