MEDECIN PNEUMOLOGUE
Afin de renforcer une petite équipe


Plateau technique de pointe avec :
- IRM – Scanner.
- Soins intensifs cardiologiques.
- Service Réanimation.

- Service de pneumologie de 30 lits dont 4 en soins palliatifs (1500 patients hospitalisés).
- Une unité de prise en charge de la douleur rebelle avec un médecin spécialiste de la douleur, aidé par une équipe de psychologues.
- Une chirurgie cardiaque (CEC) et thoracique avec 5 chirurgiens pratiquant des interventions lourdes.
- Un bloc opératoire avec 12 salles.


Le pneumologue recherché prendra en charge les affections respiratoires classiques avec réalisations d’endoscopie et d’écho-endoscopie…
Il peut être formé aux techniques d’écho-endoscopie, si besoin.
Cabinet de consultation jouxtant la clinique.
Les gardes seraient de 1 jour / 3 et 1 week-end / 3.

CA prévu la 1ère année : 250.000 ¤ environ.


Profil :

Diplôme français ou européen, inscrit à l’ordre des Médecins Français, qualifié en pneumologie. Dynamique et souhaitant réellement s’investir dans l’équipe et dans son installation.

We have part-time (28 hrs per week) consultant position available from November 2010.

We are looking for someone who has training in Respiratory Paediatrics, preferably with the ability to bronchoscope and with specific sleep training (although neither of these are essential).

The Respiratory Dept provides care for children with a wide range of respiratory problems, specifically including those with Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, and those who need chronic non invasive ventilatory support. On call is shared between the consultants pro rata, and is done as hot weeks on call. Clinics associated with this post will be for General Tertiary Respiratory, Bronchiectasis (possibly including a specific PCD clinic) and (if appropriate for the appointee) a sleep clinic, with a responsibility to report on cardio-respiratory and polysomnographic sleep studies.

The service has a Laboratory staffed with trained physiologists and provides a full range of lung function testing, as well as technical support for establishing children on long term ventilation. Starship Children's Health has a comprehensive range of Tertiary Children's Services.

Applicants must be registered or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and be vocational registered for Paediatrics.
