Educational Activities

The educational activities at Congress are designed for clinicians and allied respiratory health professionals and provide an update on specialised topics and new developments that could help in their practice.

The more broad-based Core Curriculum Courses specifically address essential topics in respiratory medicine, providing information at a basic-to-intermediate level. All courses run on the Saturday of Congress and each last half a day, allowing participants to attend two.

The scientific programme of the ERS Berlin 2008 Congress will be one of the richest ever on lung health and disease. It will address the latest advances in the areas of clinical diagnosis and treatment and includes 22 Postgraduate Courses, one Educational Workshop and 18 "Meet the Professor" Seminars.
