European Respiratory Review

What is the European Respiratory Review?

The European Respiratory Review publishes state-of-the-art reviews, updates, editorials and case reports on current topical issues in respiratory medicine, science and surgery.

All material is subject to independent peer review. Correspondence to the Chief Editor regarding published material is encouraged.

Currently, the European Respiratory Review is published quarterly, with each issue being structured around a "theme of the month".

The themes for 2010 are as follows:

  • March: Pulmonary hypertension and rare diseases 
  • June: Mucus hypersecretion
  • Sept: Lung cancer and endoscopy
  • Dec: Forum on pulmonary hypertension

Forthcoming themes are: Cystic fibrosis, Pulmonary fibrosis, Respiratory intensive care, Sleep disordered breathing, and Venous thromboembolic disease.

The European Respiratory Review is an open access journal. All European Respiratory Review online content since 2005 is accessible, free of charge, to anyone who wishes to read it.
